Bali Jewelry Masterclass is a hands-on jewelry-making workshop where we share the skills we use at our own workbench.

Classes take place in our home studio in Dalung, North Kuta. This is where we make jewelry and teach our guests using the same tools and techniques we work with ourselves.

The atmosphere is relaxed and informal. You can take your time, try things for yourself, and learn as you go.

Before Bali Jewelry Masterclass became a workshop, we were already making jewelry.

Our work began with producing jewelry for businesses and stores in different countries. Over the years, that meant spending countless hours at the workbench, learning the materials, tools, and techniques through everyday production.

Bali Jewelry Masterclass grew from a simple idea between two friends: instead of only making jewelry for other businesses, why not invite people to the workbench and show them how it’s actually made?

That idea became the workshop we run today.

You don’t need to know anything about jewelry making before you arrive.

We’ll guide you. You’ll do the making.

Our home studio sits within a local Balinese neighborhood in Dalung. It’s a working space rather than a formal classroom, which helps keep the experience personal and relaxed.

At one workbench, someone might be making their first ring. At another, someone might still be working on the shape or texture of a bracelet.

There’s no need to rush. Take your time, ask for help when you need it, and enjoy learning something new.

During the class, your instructor will show you how to use the tools and explain each stage before you try it.

Depending on the design you choose, you may work with techniques such as melting, rolling, hammering, shaping, soldering, filing, and polishing silver.

Some stages require more precision or experience. When they do, your instructor will step in where needed to keep things safe and help you achieve the design you’re working toward.

Whenever possible, the tools stay in your hands.

Most of our guests have never made jewelry before.

Some arrive with a reference image and know exactly what they want to make. Others decide after looking through the jewelry samples in our studio.

Either is completely fine.

Your instructor will help you choose a design that works with the available materials, class time, and level of difficulty, then guide you as you make it.

The goal is simple: to leave with jewelry you enjoy wearing and a better understanding of how it was made.

Our instructors are experienced jewelry makers who have spent years working hands-on with silver at the workbench.

Making jewelry is one skill. Helping someone make their first piece is another.

That’s why our approach is practical: demonstrate a technique when needed, lend a hand when something gets difficult, and give you room to continue on your own when you’re ready.

And yes, you can ask as many questions as you like.

At the end of the class, you’ll leave with the silver jewelry you made that day.

Look closely and you may see details that came directly from the way you worked — the texture left by a hammer, a curve you shaped, or a finishing choice you made along the way.

That’s part of the character of something handmade.

And when someone asks where your ring or bracelet came from, you’ll have a pretty simple answer:

“I made it in Bali.”

We don’t believe a meaningful experience needs to be complicated.

Good materials. Real tools. Patient guidance. A comfortable place to work. And enough freedom to make the piece your own.
